NStCB adopts Nsunyu village as ‘Golden Village’

The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (NStCB) Tsimenyu Branch has adopted Nsunyu village as the ‘Golden Village’ on July 12 during a programme at its head office complex Dimapur.  
Speaking at the programme, Tseminyu branch manager Puhovil Tsukru appealed the adopted village to initiate gigantic deposits and drastic recovery of NPA loans if any in the area. Those adopted villages in the state who have outstanding contribution in the field of best Non Performing Assets (NPA) loan recoveries, highest deposits, highest formation of SHG, JLG, KCC and GCC etc will be awarded during its golden jubilee celebration in November 2017, he informed. He, therefore, challenged the villagers to accept the opportunity with utmost sincerity. 
Resource person Keduseho Sale, senior field officer from Kohima Main Branch highlighted various loan facilities available and undertaken by the bank. He encouraged the rural farmers to avail the opportunity through the Golden Village schemes with entrepreneurship motive for self- sufficiency of agriculture and allied sectors. Nodal centre in-charge assistant manager Kohima Main Branch S.Kevi Hibo, while giving detailed concept of formation of SHG, JLG and KCC, stressed on the need to encourage one another in approaching the bank where their needs can be addressed to if it is genuine. He said proper financial planning helps to differentiate the essential and non- essential expenditures. Hibo briefed the participants the different types of accounts and its benefits and also spoke on the significance digital banking and sensitised the participants to adopt it.  
The programme was chaired by Jesse Seb, chairman Nsunyu village, God’s blessing was invoked by Nyiwale Thong, associate pastress Nsunyu Baptist Church and welcome address was delivered by Caleb Magh Nsunyu.
