Kaheli to represent Nagaland at Femina Miss India 2017

Kaheli Chophy, 1st runner up of Miss Nagaland 2014 beauty pageant was selected as the Femina Miss India Nagaland 2017 at the Femina Miss India auditions held at Guwahati, Assam on March 19. Miss Nagaland 2016 Vilokali Zhimomi and Miss Mokokchung 2015 Ayusangla also made it to the top 3 list during the auditions.
Femina, a part of the Times of India Group introduced a new system where Femina will be selecting a winner from each state to ensure equal representation from all the Indian States. 
The official crowning for the North Eastern States will be held at Kolkata.
Kaheli Chophy who is the present Election Icon for Zunheboto district was also adjudged as the 1st runner-up at the Ponds Electic Model Hunt 2015. She will represent Nagaland at the Femina Miss India finals to be held in Mumbai.
