Miss Wokha 2017 to be held on Nov 17

Eight participants will be vying for the prestigious Miss Wokha 2017, which will be  held on November 17, at Local Ground, Wokha, to be organized by Renchen Women Welfare Society (RWWS) a group of women an NGO’s from the district.
RWWS president, Thungdeno Mozhui, informed that the organizer are all set to conduct the event on the theme, ‘Enhancing Lives through Beauty’ with eight (8) contestants in the age group of 18-25.
The contestants for this year includes Eyilobeni Ngullie, Grace W.Ezung, Jonchibeni Ngullie, Liyingbeni Tungoe, Lorenbeni Yanthan, Marina Yanthan, Rikhulo Yanthan and Tumchobeni Patton.
A grooming session of seven days on various activities like fitness, personality development, communication skills and catwalk was conducted for the beauty queens.
The chief guest of the event will be Commissioner and Secretary, Irrigation and Flood Control Government of Nagaland, N. Hushili Sema, IAS, and Dr. Abeny Khuvung.
