Bollywood celebs mourn Chuck Berry’s death

Singers and celebrities from India on Sunday mourned the demise of rock ‘n’ roll legend Chuck Berry, who died at 90.
Berry, who is popular for his 1950s hits like “Johnny B. Goode”, “Roll over Beethoven” and “Sweet little sixteen”, died on Saturday.  Singer Benny Dayal paid his respects to “the father of rock n roll” by tweeting: “We will miss you Chuck. One of the greatest innovators to have lived.”
Ehsaan Noorani of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy fame, credited Berry as “the man who created rock n roll guitar”, while singer Adnan Sami said he “learned so much about rock n roll from him”. “Rest in Peace. ‘Johnny B Goode’ in Heaven... Genius, pioneer, legend. Chuck Berry,” Adnan wrote. Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani, who hailed Berry as an “inventor” and “pioneer”, said: “Mere words can’t describe his legacy. If rock ‘n’ roll is the devil’s music, the original devil has left us. Chuck Berry.”
Actor Randeep Hooda tweeted: “C’est la vie Chuck Berry father of rock ‘n’ roll. Not many a rockstar live to be old, you beat them at 90. RIP Chuck Berry. Johnny’ll be good up there.”

Nagaland University Students’ Union, Lumami celebrated its 18th varsity three days campus Cultural and Literary Meet 2017 under the theme ‘Achieving Excellence through Renaissance of Culture and Literature Expression’. 
On the first day, NU land spokesperson and former minister, Kheto was the chief guest while NU vice chancellor was the guest of honour. 
On the second day event Controller of Examination was the chief guest and dean of students’ welfare was the guest of honor. 
On the third and final day onlybafo.com founder and CEO, Watinungsang Imsong was the chief Guest while Registrar, NU was the guest of honour. 
Different cultural songs, folklores, dramas were presented by Ao, Sumi, Tenyimia, Lotha and Eastern fellowship with various indigenous  games competition like pole climbing, pork eating, 7 stones, etc. 
Students also participated in various competitions like quiz, elocution, debates, solo, dance, etc. The students were mesmerized by the special appearance of Alobo Nag
