Three-day summer camp at Tezpur University concludes

The three-day summer camp jointly organised by Tezpur University and administration of Kaliabor sub-division concluded Sunday at Tezpur University. Rajiv Kumar Bora, additional chief secretary, government of Assam paid a visit to university and interacted with the 150 students who were at the summer camp.
30 different schools of Kaliabor sub division attended the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Kumar Bora encouraged the students to work hard and advised them to focus on studies. He answered a lot of questions of the students regarding how to prepare for competitive exams, skills needed to be successful in life and shared his own experience.
During the three-day camp, the students have undergone various programmes and activities, such as, a workshop on introduction to “Robotics,” “Night Sky Viewing” by the Astronomy Club and a virtual tour of the University. The students also interacted with Prof. Madan Sarma, Vice-Chancellor of the university and noted journalist, Samudra Gupta Kashyap in a special session. 
The students also visited various departments/laboratories/Central library and got acquainted with the state of the art facilities the university provides.
The students also showcased their soft skills in a cultural program organised during the camp. Apart from these activities, the students also learned basic yoga protocol during the camp.
