AASA annual meet concludes

The annual meet of Aghunaqa Area Sports Association (AASA) sponsored by Aghunaqa Kukami Kuqhakulu (AKK) concluded on December 3 with Tito Yepthomi, entrepreneur gracing the closing ceremony as the guest of honour. 
In men’s football, Qhuhoi village emerged as the champion while Hukhai village bagged the runner-up. Tokishe village and Kikheyi village emerged as the champion and runner-up in men’s volleyball while Nguvihe village and Hukhai village were the champion and runner-up in women’s volleyball. In men’s doubles badminton Hukhai village emerged as the champion and Kikheyi village bagged the runner-up while in women’s badminton, Zutoi village and Nguvihe village bagged the first and second position respectively. In the women’s penalty out, Zhekishe village took the champions trophy and Nguvihe village bagged the runner-up. Khutovi village was adjudged as the best discipline team. Altogether 18 villages under Aghunaqa area participated in the tournament.
