Classic Cup: Barak FC enter semi-finals

Three times champions Barak FC entered semi-finals of 23rd Classic Cup after defeating Turaco FC 5-0 on Monday.
In the one sided match, Elminhao Kilong opened the account for Barak FC in the 32nd minute. After the first goal, the confident Barak FC made some serious attempts and in the process found the second goal in the 36th minute through Rhitso Mero. Three minutes later, Elminhao Kilong scored again to make it 3-0at the end of first half.
After the breather, a determined Turaco FC came back with a different strategy and created some excellent opportunities, however, they failed to find the net. First, Lungshiipa’s long distance attempt hit the goal post while his second attempt was saved by the keeper. L. Maraiba (3) and Napolean Maram (7) also missed some golden chances. 
The fourth goal for Barak FC was scored by Hitovi in the 59th minute while the fifth goal was scored by Elminhao Kilong to seal the match. 
K. Ngamkhang Salym (14) of Turaco FC was booked for unsporting behaviour in the field.
