An interactive session between parents of Naga students of Candor International School, (CIS) Bangalore along with Principal Pradip Das and his wife Margaret Das was held on Saturday at Aier’s Enclave Dimapur.

The session  was held so that parents and others present would look at the development and well being of their children.

Unlike many other International schools in India, Candor International offers International curriculum-International Baccalaureate (IB)-PYP, DP, CIE/IGCSE at an affordable rate providing facilities to suit the programme from Preparatory 1 to Grade 12.

Pradip is also known to be a close associate of late Rev. Dr. I Ben Wati.
Pradip  is known to many alumnus from Kodai International School, Baldwin boys school (Bangalore), Mt. Hermon School (Darjeeling), St. Pauls (Darjeeling), North point school (Darjeeling) etc.

Realizing the global issues on environment, the husband wife duo Pradip and Margaret also stressed on the importance of creating awareness on issues related to a safer environment.

Believing in the potential of the present generation, Margaret pointed out “Traditional method teaching school does not help”  hence the founder of Candor International School, Suresh Reddy’s vision to establish a “Green School” and integrate modern technology was actualized.

With this, Candor International School would be the first Green School in India and the mode of teaching and learning would move from laptops to iPads. However as confirmed by Margaret Das there would be written promotional exam.

A Naga lady teacher is also a faculty besides others from the other northeastern  states.
Towards the end of the evening, one of the students, Limanochet Longkumer, who is also part of the movie club screened a documentary on hostel life in boys’ dormitory.
