To mark 66th Independence Day, office of the chief medical officer, Kohima conducted a health mela at community health centre, Chiephobozou town.

The mela was inaugurated by chief guest for the event at Chiephobozou local ground, where information, education and communication activities were carried out.

Altogether, 543 patients were given treatment, counseling, blood slide examination conducted, school health activities which included eye check up, dental examination, immunization, health education talks, besides other health related activities.

Senior medical officer of Chiephobozou in his message thanked the co-operation and participation of the public in general and particularly the administration, town committee and the health centre management committee members.
