State government has decided to observe Anti-Terrorism Day on May 20, 2017 at 1:30pm in Secretariat Conference Hall, where a pledge taking ceremony would also be organized.
Every year May 21 is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day throughout the nation with the objective to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence.
However, since May 21 falls on Sunday, which is a holiday for state government offices, the state government has decided to observe the Day on May 20 in a befitting manner.
All the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat have been requested to make it convenient to participate in the Pledge taking ceremony.
Further, all government offices, public sector undertakings and other public institutions in the state have been requested to observe the pledge.
