Extend cooperation for peaceful conduct of 2018 assembly election: DC Dimapur

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, while reminding the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) members of the ensuing 2018 assembly elections has sought the cooperation and support of the members for peaceful conduct of the elections.
According to DIPR report, the DC was addressing the members at the monthly DPDB meeting on December 5 at the conference hall of DC Dimapur.
He asked the members to contribute and help for conducting the 2018 Nagaland Assembly Elections peacefully in the district. The DC further informed that a meeting would be convened next week for constituting various teams relating to election issues. 
Sushil also asked the members to inform DC office if they were going out of station and also asked the departments who have not submitted the list of employees to do the same at the earliest.
The DC also enquired from the R&B department about the progress of construction of the two bridges at Dimapur.  
In the meeting, the members decided to send the proposal for up-gradation of Kuhuboto SDO (C) to ADC hqs to the government for consideration.  With regard to registration of societies, the house recommended the proposal of Sustainable Bio village, Molvom village, Medziphema and decided to forward it to the government for consideration. As entrusted, Land Resources and Forest departments gave departmental presentations.
