RD department organises farewell programme

Department of Rural Department (RD) officers and staffs hosted a farewell programme for its outgoing director, Metsubo Jamir at RD conference hall Kohima, Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, minister for RD & REPA, C. L. John congratulated the outgoing officer for his dedicated service to the rural people of Nagaland in his government career spanning over 29 years. 
Terming Jamir as a capable, efficient and a humble officer, John lauded the outgoing director for maintaining good rapport with all his superiors and staffs and all former RD ministers during his stint as RD director. 
Secretary RD, Kelei Zeliang, also thanked the outgoing director for his immense contribution towards the betterment of the department as well as the rural people with his vast experience. 
Others who spoke on the occasion include retired chief secretary Alemtemshi Jamir, additional director (HOD) RD, Imlimeren Jamir, joint director, K. Neibou Sekhose, PD, Thungjamo Odyuo on behalf of DRDAs, BDO, Er. A. Atu Imsong on behalf of BDOs, registrar, Neizeü on behalf of ministerial staff, and peon, Vishito Sema.
The farewell programme was chaired by joint director, Imnukshila Jamir, welcome address was delivered by joint director, Asangla T. Aier, invocation prayer by joint director, Neizovonuo Visa, vote of thanks by deputy director, G. Thong. The outgoing director was accompanied by his wife, children and a host of family members and friends.
