Assessment camp for children with special needs held in Dimapur

Assessment camp for children with special needs was organised by Sarva Shiksha/Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland Education Mission Society (EMS) in collaboration with Department of Health and Family Welfare, Star Key New Delhi and Department of Social Welfare was held at Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) Nagarjan, Dimapur on May 16. 

According to DIPR report, around 166 special children attended and benefited from the camp. 

The assessment camp was for check-up of visually impaired children and for disabilities including locomotion disability, hearing impairment etc. For hearing impaired children, hearing aids were provided on the spot. 

Assistive devices will be provided under Samagra Shiksha after completion of the assessment camps.
