Call to entries for Photography Contest 2018

 Child Protection Services, Department of Social Welfare, Nagaland has invited entries for interested photographers, both amateur and professional, are invited to submit their photograph(s) for the Photography Contest 2018, Nagaland. The competition aims to raise awareness on Child Rights and Protection issues in the state.

There will be two categories for entry. The first category is open only for children below 18 years of age while the second category is open for all age group and there will not be entry fees.

Category-1: Children below 18 Years of age, theme-Childhood, first prize will be Rs 10,000, second prize: Rs 5,000, 3 consolation prizes of Rs. 2000 each.

Category-2: Open to all, Theme: Children of Nagaland (Children in Traditional Attire). First prize: Rs 15,000, second prize: Rs 10,000 with 3 consolation prizes of Rs 3000 each.

A participant may send a maximum of two entries with proper mention of the category, attached caption and a brief write up about the photograph (s). Shortlisted works will be exhibited at Highland Park Kohima on 20th November 2018.

Conditions for the contest: Participants have to furnish complete contact details (Name, age, phone number, email address and postal address). The photograph(s) must be a JPEG image with good resolution and original creation. The result will be declared on 20th November, 2018 at Highland Park, Kohima. By submitting your entries, participants agree to grant Child Protection Services (CPS) Nagaland free of charge, the right to use the photo(s) without limitation in printed or electronic media. CPS agrees to give proper photo courtesy. Last Date of Entry will be 5th November 2018.
