GINGER GARLIC BOK CHOY

 INGREDIENTS

 4 baby bok choy

2 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp grated fresh ginger

2 garlic cloves

2 tbsp soy sauce 

¼ cup water 

1 tsp corn flour

1tsp sesame seeds for garnish

Salt to taste

Method

1. Cut the bok choy into half lengthwise, root and leaves trimmed. Chop the garlic.

2. Heat the sesame oil in a pan; add the ginger and garlic and cook for a minutes.

3. Add soy sauce then the bok choy, turning to coat in the oil and seasoning.

4. Add water and cover the pan with a lid. Cook the bok choy until the stem end is tender, about 4 or 5 minutes. Add more water if necessary.

5. Mix the corn flour in some water and pour over to make a sauce. Let the sauce thicken.

6. Remove the bok choy to a platter, pour the sauce over top and garnish with the sesame seeds.
