Leprosy Awareness Campaign launched in Zunheboto

The SPARSH Leprosy Awareness Campaign was launched in Zunheboto by deputy CMO, Zunheboto, Dr. K. Akaho Sema on February 8.

A press release issued by CMO office Zunheboto, district media officer Shekho Sophie stated that during the campaign program a review meeting was also held with all staff of Zunheboto district NLEP.
Dr. Sema encouraged the staff to go on regular field visits to detect missed out or hidden cases of leprosy lying undetected in the community. 
He also emphasized on regular and quality monthly reports. Dr. Sema also urged them to come up with the 2019-2020 monthly activity plans at the earliest. Pointing out that leprosy had been eliminated from the country, he however asked the staff to not be complacent in their work.
Huzambo, NMS (NLEP) highlighted various activities carried out in the district.
