NSCN (I-M) holds consultative meet with LH

NSCN (I-M) on September 8 held a consultative meeting with the Lotha Hoho (LH) and its district units at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur. 

According to MIP, the meeting, headed by NSCN (I-M) kilo kilonser, Hukavi Yepthomi and ‘lt. gen.’ Anthony Shimray, longvibu & political commissar to the collective leadership was held to share and understand the political issue at hand so that the Nagas would harvest the deserving national aspirations.

MIP said LH president conveyed the message that the hoho was “with the GPRN and will be with the Naga nation now and ever.” 

At the meeting, MIP said Hukavi Yepthomi elaborated on the uniqueness of Naga history and the cause of the Naga struggle from inception till India officially recognized the uniqueness of the Naga history, which was also in the principle of the Framework Agreement, signed between NSCN (I-M) and the Government of India on August 3, 2015. 

Yepthomi asserted that every Naga was equally responsible for bringing about an honourable solution and that every Naga was also equally welcome to be a part of the final solution, which is expected soon.

While appreciating the hoho, Anthony Shimray stated that the Framework Agreement was not an ordinary agreement but a covenant to settle the political issue of the two entities honourably. 

MIP said that the GPRN praised the Lotha Hoho and its collective social leaders, comprising of intellectuals with practical wisdom, to build the Naga nation. 

“Today’s ‘heart talk’ was an invaluable moment and the GPRN hope that such a bonding and sharing of one’s ideas and knowledge will certainly bring forth an unconditional love and prosperity among all the Naga brethren,” MIP stated.
