NSF to elect new office bearers

Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will hold the election for new team of office bearers for the tenure 2019-21 at Bhandari town, Wokha on May 10 coinciding with the three-day 28th biennial general conference of NSF. 

A press release from election commission for the 28th NSF general conference chairman, Meitsikhoyo Yhobuh  informed that as per powers vested upon the election commission and in pursuance of sub-section C of Section 3 of Article 26 of the constitution of NSF, the following model code of conduct (MCC) will come into force with immediate effect. 

All intending candidates should fulfil the qualifications for candidates laid down in Section 2 of Article 26 of the constitution of NSF. Should there be any dispute relating to interpretation of the constitution, the decision of the election commission shall be final and binding. 

Federating units not fulfilling the minimum 30 delegates attending the 28th general conference shall forfeit their voting rights from the electoral college and their candidature for contesting any given post in the election.
