While delivering a welcome address, deputy director (NVBDCP), Dr. Neisakho Kere expressed hope that the deliberations in the two day meeting would be helpful in propelling the state towards malaria elimination by 2030.

It was followed by district presentations on program implementation with inputs and suggestions from the participants. The second day of the meeting will also see a similar agenda where program implementation in the districts will be discussed and reviewed.
