Sumi Boys Club, Vidima YO in final

Sumi Boys Club and Vidima Youth Organisation have reached the final of 5th Altrura Open Football Tournament. 

In the first semifinal played at Chümoukedima town local ground on Thursday, Sumi Boys Club beat FC Pegasus 2-1. Seimin opened the account for FC Pegasus in the 6th minute.

After the breather, Sumi Boys found the equalizer through Anato. While Athalo found the winning goal to guide Sumi Boys Club to the final.

In the second semifinal, Vidima Youth Organisation (VYO) beat CABA Youth Ministry 1-0. In the very competitive match, the first half ended goalless. 

In the second half, both teams stepped up their attack but it was VYO’s Yanger who scored the lone goal to take Vidima YO to the final. Meanwhile, Neiba Shüya, president, Chümoukedima Town Youth Organisation and Abi Rüpreo, pitch curator, Nagaland Cricket Association were the match patrons respectively.

Sumi Boys Club and Vidima Youth Organisation will clash in the final on September 15 at 2pm.

Razouvotuo Chatsu, chairman, Chümoukedima Village Council and Chümoukedima Area Village Chairman Association will be the special invitee for the closing ceremony.
