UATMP, Razeba area sign MoU to promote Tenyidie

In a significant development to promote Tenyidie, the Ura Academy Tenyidie Mission Project (UATMP) and Razeba area under Razeba Public Organisation (RPO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Ura Academy Hall, Mission compound, Kohima on February 12.
Secretary general, Ura Academy, Prof. D. Kuolie said the primary objective was to promote Tenyidie, the common standard to all areas and section of Tenyimi people.  He said that a resolution was passed by Ura Academy Board of directors to sponsor Tenyidie Language Missionaries to various part of Tenyimia areas to bring Tenyimi community together, to learn and use Tenyidie for better understanding and closer contact in every aspect of life.
Appreciating RPO in coming forward to impart Tenyidie in all schools in their area, Kuolie said it will also embark in promoting and fulfilling the police of Naga Heritge Study (NHS) framed and introduced by State Council of Education, Research and Training (SCERT) in the form of Nagaland language policy and implementation on the other hand.
The MoU was signed by Prof. D. Kuolie, and Khazi Lea, president RPO and Dr. Zavise Rame, convenor, Tenyidie Learning Centre, Razeba area.
Under the MoU, besides many other provisions, the Ura Academy will sponsor one or more Tenyidie teacher, who will atleast be a Master degree holder in Tenyidie language and literature (and other professional degree such as B.Ed.) for a period of 10 years, extendable subject to the condition of the progress.
At the programme, short speeches were delivered by Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, president, Ura Academy, Vipralhou Kesiezie; Dr. Zavise Rume, Khazi Lea and Thejakhrielie Sekhose, director SCERT. The programme was attended by various Tenyidie scholars, academicians and public leaders.
