Mokokchung police arrested a man aged around 30 years after 10.55 grams was allegedly recovered from his possession on August 13 at Settsu junction.
In a press release, Superintendent of Police Mokokchung informed that the arrested person has been identified as Trongdiba T Sangtam son of Thsalongse Sangtam, Chimonger PO/PS Longkhim, and a resident of officer colony Tuensang.
SP informed that the heroin was recovered from the possession of Trongdiba during checking and frisking at Settsu junction, from a Tata Sumo (NL 07 T0693). In this connection, a case has been registered vide Mokokchung PS-II under NDPS Act for further investigation.
