A pedestrian, non-Naga aged around 55 years was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle near M/S Atlas Construction, Gorapatti, Golaghat road, Dimapur on January 5.
In a press release Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO of Dimapur police informed that the pedestrian with grievous injury was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur, however the doctor declared brought dead.
PRO said that the deceased was yet to be identified and after observing all legal formalities, the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for identification and post-mortem examination. PRO further informed that the deceased was wearing black T-Shirt, Blue Jacket, Blue Long Pant (Pajama) and Black Boxer.
