One person was grievously hurt in Kiphire town after being hit by a speeding Van (AS 06C 6385) at around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The injured person identified as one Sekyupi Sangtam of New Resithsi village of Kiphire district suffered head injury and was admitted to District Hospital Kiphire. However, the injured was air lifted to Dimapur as condition became serious. According to Kiphire police, the driver of the van, identified as one Thingre Sangtam was arrested and was sent to Jail after case registration.
