1 injured in mishap

An inspector of Nagaland Home Guards was seriously injured when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding and met with an accident at Khatkhati, under Karbi Anglong district, Assam, Wednesday around 4.45 p.m. Sources said the injured inspector identified as Kethi Rengma, presently attached to Zunheboto, was in an inebriated state at the time of the accident. Dimapur Traffic Police ASI, Y Ezung, who went to Bokajan Hospital where Kethi was initially admitted, told Nagaland Post that he immediately made arrangement to shift the injured to Dimapur as the victim was not even given first aid treatment at Bokajan Hospital. Kethi was later admitted to Zion Hospital and reported to be out of danger.
