One person was killed and three others suffered injuries in a road accident on Wednesday when a vehicle (Bolero) in which they were travelling plunged off a cliff at Longsa village, a few kilometres away from Wokha town.
The deceased, identified as Temsuwati Jamir, pastor of Borlengri Ao Baptist Church, was on his way to Impur to attend an executive meeting. He was being accompanied by his parents and a deacon of the Church.
The condition of deceased’s parents, who have been admitted to Eden Hospital, Dimapur, was said to be stable. The deacon also reportedly escaped with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the body of the pastor was brought to Dimapur on Wednesday night.
