1 shot dead

A ‘GPRN/NSCN’ activist identified as one Imkongngangzuk (27), son of Temsubenba of Mongsenyimti village was reportedly shot dead by the rival NSCN (I-M) near Chuchuyimlang in Mokokchung district, Tuesday at around 3 p.m. Sources said Imkongngangzuk was apprehended by the rival members from his village Mongsenyimti at around 2.30 p.m and later shot dead near Chuchuyimglang. Sources also said the deceased had recently defected from the NSCN (I-M) and was reportedly killed for “collecting tax from Langpangkong Range.”
