One person was shot dead today by some unidentified gunmen at Railway Crossing, below the Fly Over Bridge at around 10 am. Police later identified the victim as one Hutovi Achumi, son of Sheyito Achumi of Shena Village (New) under Zunheboto District and recovered two empty cases of 9 mm pistol from the spot. The dead body was later handed over to the relatives. According to an eye witness, three persons barged into the house of the victim and fired two shots before fleeing. The two bullets hit above the upper lip and on the head.
