100 benefitted from Ayush health camp

Over 100 patients benefited from the Ayush awareness outreach-cum-free health camp organized at Kezoma village, under Kohima district by 50-Bedded Integrated Ayush Hospital, Razha Chedema on July 28.


The health camp was conducted by a team of four doctors (3 Ayurvedic doctors and 1 Homoeopathic doctor) along with three staff nurses and five other paramedical staffs of IAH Razha Chedema.
A brief programme was held which was chaired by council chairman, Kezoma, Kikrosa Naki and began with an invocation by catechist catholic church Kezoma, Kedusel.


Dr. Khonuo Mary Belho, medical superintendent IAH Razha Chedema in a brief address highlighted on the activities and functioning of the hospital and various AYUSH mode of treatment and therapies available. She also emphasized on the importance of AYUSH health system for prevention, promotion and rehabilitative healthcare in different areas of ailments.


Dr. Kuokholie Savino, resident medical officer IAH also highlighted the community about providing utmost AYUSH patient care services to the people in the hospital with an aim to reach out to the neighboring villages through outreach programmes in disseminating and promoting AYUSH healthcare services to the general masses in the coming days.


During the health camp, basic diagnostic tests like blood pressure monitoring, random blood sugar test, vital stats etc and free AYUSH medicines were distributed.
