100-room patients’ hostel to be set up in Dimapur

Nagaland governor RN Ravi has conceived to set up a 100-room patients’ hostel facility in Dimapur to mitigate the problem of people coming from remote areas for medical treatment.

According to a Raj Bhavan statement, Ravi, has been concerned about people coming from remote areas of Nagaland to Dimapur for medical treatment and unavailability of affordable lodging facilities.

Ravi expressed gratitude to Union Minister of Power, NRE, Raj Kumar Singh, who readily agreed to meet the cost of the project. As instructed by governor, the DC Dimapur has tentatively located the land and has been tasked to prepare building plan and management of the patients’ hostel.

It said that the state government has been requested to provide the needed assistance and guidance to DC Dimapur in this regard for early completion of the project. Raj Bhavan stated that the proposed facility would soon be finished and would start serving the needy people of Nagaland.
