In a significant initiative aimed at empowering local youth, the 111 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF), popularly known as The Great Naga, has commenced a coaching programme for recruitment into the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The programme was launched at the Battalion Headquarters in Satakha, Zunheboto on August 25.
According to a DIPR report, the initiative has received an overwhelming response, with over 120 boys and girls registering for the programme, expressing strong interest in joining the security forces and serving the nation.
As part of the selection process, a pre-medical examination was conducted to ensure that candidates meet the basic eligibility criteria required for CAPF recruitment.
The coaching is being imparted by BSF personnel with higher educational qualifications and thorough knowledge of the recruitment syllabus and examination patterns. Classes are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, five days a week.
The curriculum includes academic subjects relevant to the written examination, along with physical fitness training to ensure holistic preparation. Study materials are also being provided to all registered candidates to support self-study and revision.
The initiative reflects the commitment of 111 BN BSF to fostering opportunities for youth and encouraging them to pursue careers in the armed forces.
