111 bn BSF, Satakha celebrates Raising Day

 The 111 battalion BSF, Satakha celebrated its 57th Raising Day on December 1.

According to a DIPR report, the celebration which commenced on November 25 saw various activities such as games and sports, literary events at schools, plantation drives and exhibition of weapons and equipment.

The culmination programme included various cultural items showcasing the rich heritage of the force and was followed by traditional feast during where ex-CAPF, families of BSF martyrs, civil dignitaries were invited and all the battalion personnel participated.

Commandant, 111Bn BSF, Sanjay Tandan welcomed all the guests present at the occasion and vote of thanks was proposed by second-in-command, Rajeev Ranjan Sinha.
