A total of 13,31,555 elector are there in Nagaland, as per the draft roll, 2025. The draft photo electoral roll was published on October 29, 2024 for all 60 assembly constituencies in Nagaland by the respective electoral registration officers.
In a press release, the chief electoral officer (CEO) Nagaland, Vyasan R, informed that the draft electoral rolls, 2025 was accessible in the website of the CEO, Nagaland, https://ceo.nagaland.gov.in
CEO Nagaland informed that the final photo electoral roll would be published on January 10, 2025. As per the drat roll, out of the 13,31,555 elector in the state, 666473 were male and 665080 were female. The total electors include 13,24,231 general electors (659264 male and 664965 female) and 7324 service electors (7209 male and 115 female).
The electors-population (EP) ratio of the state stood at 534 while elector gender ratio stood at 1009 as per the published draft roll. The period for filing claims and objections would be from October 29, 2024 to November 28, 2024. Special camps would be held in all the polling stations on November 8, 2024 (Friday) and November 9, 2024 (Saturday) and November 22, 2024 (Friday) and November 23, 2024 (Saturday) for receiving claims and objections.
Citizens can file claims and objections with the concerned booth level officer or with the AERO and ERO. Forms can be downloaded from ECI and CEO’s website.
Online applications can also be filed/submitted online through voters.eci.gov.in (links are provided in the ECI and CEO’s website) or mobile app – VHA (voter helpline app) which is available for download in Google play store and Apple app store.
