The 14th Edition of the Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament 2025 organized by the Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) will commence from October 11, at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal East.
Altogether 36 team/club from different Zeliangrong villages of the state will take part in the tournament. The “Opening Match” will be played between “Gaidimjang Young Association (GYA) and Ragailong Soccer-XI (RS-XI)”.
The opening ceremony will be graced by Thangjam Arunkumar, MLA as chief guest while the secretary for YAS Manipur, Naorem Praveen Singh, DC Thoubal Disctrict Hannah Kahmei, DC Bishnupur District Pooja Elangbam, Commissioner of Taxes, Manipur Mercina R. Panmei, and Director YAS Dr. Mayenbam Veto Singh, will attend the function as guests of honour.
President Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) G. Aguilung, will preside over the Function. Chairman of HAC & MLA 54ST-Nungba AC and also the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dinganglung Gangmei will be the chief host of the function.
This year tournament, the winning team will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakhs and Runners-up team with Rs. 1 lakh along with a Trophy each. Other group and individual awards consist of “Best Disciplined Team & Best Parade Team” for group team and Best Player, Best Keeper and Top Scorer” for individual awards. A cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- each along with a trophy will be awarded for group team and individual players.
