The 14th NAP (IR) Bn. Kiphire organized a medical camp at guest house Okhe village on September 7.
Around 100 persons attended the camp and availed the benefits. The unit also donated sound system to the Okhe Village Baptist Church as the church did not have a proper sound system to conduct services.
Commandant 14th NAP (IR) Bn. Kiphire Dr. H. Mukhum Shio speaking at the camp quoted a verse “Love your neighbour as yourself” and exhorted the gathering to live in peace and harmony with everyone.
He encouraged the villagers to avail the benefit of Unit Subsidiary Canteen. He also highlighted about the problems of drug abuse and advised the village elders to take measures to control drugs and alcohols in the area.
Head GB Okhe Village, Tsathrongse also shared his excitement for organizing the medical camp and said that 14th NAP (IR) Bn was like a parents for them.
Dy. Comdt. (QM) highlighted about the importance and functioning of family welfare in Police department.
SMO highlighted on the importance of maintaining healthy life and alerted about dengue and eye conjunctivitis. The programme was chaired by Muluto Veswuh.
