155 Bn CRPF has refuted the charges made by GB Association of Aghunaqa Area (AKK) that the central force was arbitrarily issuing of “one-sided permits or licenses” in the Disputed Area Belt (DAB).
155 Bn CRPF stated that it was performing DAB duty as a neutral force in the Sector “A & B” Sector to maintain “Status-Quo” and peace and tranquillity. The unit clarified that 155 Bn CRPF never issue “Permits or Licenses” for anything.
155 Bn CRPF stated that “Permits or Licenses” is issued by the respective “Border Magistrate” i.e Assam and Nagaland from which areas the goods are produced/proceed. As a neutral force, 155 Bn CRPF said it was striving hard to ensure its neutrality at any cost and dismissed the allegation of biasness as “false”.
