Principal secretary P&AR and Home department Abhijit Sinha Monday informed that the Inner Line Permit (ILP) of 1601 persons/tourists were approved through the online system till December 9.
He said many applications were rejected as it was subjected to approval.
Ahead of the Hornbill Festival 2019, Nagaland chief minister on November 8 launched the online ILP system for domestic tourists, in order to ease the process and also with the objective to make it more tourist friendly.
This module for online ILP was designed and developed Information Technology and Communication department for the Home department as part of promoting e-governance in the state as well as for improving the implementation of the ILP regime.
In addition to the manual mode, tourists/visitors can apply for the ILP at their convenient time by visiting www.ilp.nagaland.gov.in
