164 Infantry Battalion (territorial army) (home & hearth) NAGA constructed two toilet block and water tank of 10,000 litres capacity at Jakhama village, Kohima under its military civic action programme (operation sadbhavana) under the aegis of HQ 3 Corps in its endeavour to uplift the village.
In its press release dated March 29, it informed that the village vouncil chairman Medose Richa acknowledged the importance of water tank and toilet block for the development of the village during the inauguration programme, and expressed appreciation for the effort taken by 164 Infantry Battalion n spreading welfare projects.
The release added that the village management committee, village elders, GBs, chairman and unit officers, junior commissioned officers and other ranks of 164 Infantry battalion (territorial army) (home & hearth) NAGA attended the programme.
