Of the 184 samples of suspected COVID cases sent for testing from the state including seven samples which were sent on April 15, 174 samples have tested negative while results of 10 samples were awaited, principal secretary Home, Abhijit Sinha stated.
In the daily briefing, Sinha said 18 tonnes of materials for BSL-3 Lab construction at NHAK, Kohima was expected to arrive on April 16 morning via Indian Air Force Aircraft depending on weather conditions.
India Covid death toll crosses 400: The number of COVID-19 infections inched towards 12,000 while the death toll crossed 400, according to official data. The death toll due to coronavirus rose to 392 with 39 fatalities reported since Tuesday evening, while the number of cases saw a jump of 1,118 to go up to 11,933 on Wednesday, according to the Union Health Ministry.
