196 pass out from ARTC&S

After 44 weeks of military training, 196 recruits, both boys and girls passed out from the Assam Rifles Training Centre & School (ARTC&S) at Shokhuvi on January 28.
According to PRO (defence), the attestation parade was reviewed by Brigadier S K Sheoran, Deputy Inspector General, Assam Rifles Training Centre & School in the presence of parents and guardians.
Addressing the recruits, the Reviewing Officer highlighted the rich history of the Assam Rifles as the oldest paramilitary force of the country and its diversified role in North East, across the country and overseas.
He congratulated the recruits and their proud parents on successful completion of training and wished them success and happiness in all their endeavors. The Rifleman and Riflewomen will join their respective units to serve the country.
