The Suthozumi Chess Association today organised 1st Suthozumi All Nagaland Online Open Chess Tournament under the aegis of the Nagaland Chess Association.
In Open category, Kevilekho Zumvu emerged the champion title with an impressive 11.5 points.
Mughaho Awomi and Khoveto Vero bagged the second and third position respectively.
The top 20 players in this category were also awarded with prizes.
In the Under-17 section, Vibeto Assumi claimed the top spot, followed by Icicang Haikam and Setsuzo Phesao, securing the 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Ilung Haikam won Under-11 category with Otsi Tunyi and Reku Haikum finishing in second and third place.
Tsesam was honored with the prize for the best female player for her outstanding performance.
The tournament drew several distinguished participants, including numerous former and current state and national players.
