Police personnel manning Phesama check gate while conducting routine checking and frisking on may 20 intercepted one Maruti Alto B/R No. WB-20-J-5719 and recovered 112 bottles of beer and 36 bottles of Old Monk rum.
Accordingly two persons identified as one Thila (28 yrs) W/o – Hingba, Village – Maram, Dist – Senapati (Manipur) and Moses Chawang S/o – Pungtizup Chawang, Village – Maram, Dist – Senapati (Manipur) were arrested for possession and transportation of IMFL. In this connection, a regular case vide Kohima South P.S Case No. 0057/15 U/S 44(a) NLTP Act is registered against them for conducting further investigation.
