Mokokchung police arrested two persons and seized brown sugar from their possession in Mokokchung on September 18, PRO of Mokokchung police said. PRO informed that during frisking and checking at Sewak gate Mokokchung, 1.19 grams of brown sugar was seized from the possession of Morenba (20) son of Limawapang, Longchang village and a resident of Sangtemla Ward, Mokokchung.
On further inquiry, police raided a house of Takayapang (33) son of Imnalemba of Khensa village at Yimyu ward, Mokokchung and recovered another 10.35 grams. In this connection, a case has been registered at Mokokchung police station and both the arrested persons were booked under relevant section of law.
