
Two students from Nagaland have been selected to witness the historic landing of Chandrayaan-2 on moon with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at ISRO control room in Bengaluru on September 7.
Shlok Mundhra, a class 10 student of Hollotoli School, Dimapur was one of the top two students selected amongst the thousands of students in the recent online Space Quiz 2019 conducted by MyGov, in collaboration with ISRO.
According to online portal, another candidate was a class 10 student, Aleyzeza Leyri.
Chandrayaan-2, a three-module spacecraft comprising an orbiter, lander and rover, which was launched on July 22, will land on the moon on September 7.
