Department of Power Nagaland (DoPN) has informed all the electricity consumers of all categories (government consumers, bulk, industrial, commercial, domestic, VEMB and UEMB consumers) under electrical division Dimapur that it would be intensively conducting disconnection drive on defaulting consumers for non-payment of electricity bill having arrears for more than two months as well as raids on theft of power through hooking, tampering of energy meters and pilferage of Energy meters.

Mokokchung Police arrested five members of the NSCN (Khango) faction and seized a large cache of illegal arms and ammunition during a vehicle check at Yajang Junction, Tuli, on March 5.

As part of the ongoing RAMP program under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Department of Industries and Commerce, in collaboration with Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation (NIDC) with support from Department of Underdeveloped Areas (DUDA) organized the “Apparel Technology Workshop: Redefining Tradition with Tech” on March 4 and 5 at Mongken Apparel Unit, Sovima, Chumoukedima. According to a DIPR report, a total of 58 entrepreneurs and MSMEs from across Nagaland participated in each workshop, demonstrating a growing interest in integrating modern technology with traditional apparel craftsmanship.
