The two-day national seminar on “Understanding India’s Northeast: Ethnicity, Identity, and Issues of Conflict” concluded at MGM College Dimapur on February 7.

The 6th session of Chogarüki, comprising four villages- Chozuba, Gariphema, Rusoma and Kijumetouma was held on February 7 at Trinitarian Spot, Gariphema village. Rev. Khrieo Mezhü, Pastor, CRC Rüsoma, Rev. Thepupa Swuro, Senior Pastor, Chozuba Village Baptist Church and Pesilhou Angami spoke at the programme.

Lotha Middle Range Public Organisation (LMRPO) has strongly condemned the alleged rape of a minor girl by Tama Ngullie. In a condemnation note, LMPRO president, N. John Murry Lotha, secretary Motsuthung Tsopoe and joint secretary, Moyithung Tsopoe said the crime committed against the defenceless minor was a serious violation of human rights’ and created a irreparable scar/fear psychosis on the victim and has sent shock waves to the Lotha, Naga tribe (s) as a whole.
