Gov highlights state development in R-Day address

CL John graces Republic Day celebration in Dimapur
Environment, Forest & Climate Change and Village Guards minister CL John said the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change was implementing the Nagaland Forest Management Project with assistance from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), under which an Eco-Park was inaugurated on December 1, 2024 jointly by chief minister Neiphiu Rio and Ambassador of Japan in India Keichii Ono.

Patton, ZTGBA condemn shooting incident at Zunheboto; 1 arrested
Deputy chief minister, in-charge of Home, Y. Patton and Zunheboto Town GB Association (ZTGBA) have strongly condemned the shooting incident inside the premises of District Forest Officer’s office at Zunheboto, damaging the government vehicle of an officer.
In a statement, Patton said that such kind of incident has no place in a society and needed serious condemnation by all.
