The NEET-UG 2026 examination was conducted Sunday across 551 cities in India and 14 abroad for nearly 23 lakh candidates. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the National Testing Agency headquarters to review preparedness, including logistics, coordination and monitoring systems.
Officials said strict protocols were followed to ensure smooth conduct and discipline at centres. NEET-UG remains one of India’s largest entrance exams for admission to MBBS, BDS and allied medical courses.
