With an aim to register 100% people eligible under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) under its constituency, the 24th Angetyongpang A/C conducted a comprehensive training session on December 9.
As per the latest update, 2,956 beneficiaries have been registered for the health insurance schemes. Six operators have been trained at the training session held at the residence of advisor of Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum.
The training was spearheaded by Takotemjen, a proficient LDA-cum-BIS operator from the CMO Mokokchung. The financial aid for the initiative was sponsored by Tongpang Ozüküm.
Meanwhile, NDPP 24th Angetyongpang A/C expressed gratitude to the office of the CMO, Mokokchung, for their support and guidance throughout the process.
Earlier, a week-long Beneficiary Identification Drive (BIS) for AB-PMJAY CMHIS (Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme) in the whole constituency commenced on December 8.
A press release by NDPP 29 Jangpetkong A/C, through its Media & Publicity Cell, informed that the special drive was sponsored by advisor, Transport and Technical Education, Temjenmenba, and supervised by NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC office.
Formally kicking off the drive at Chungliyimsen village, NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC president, Aodangnok, said that the special drive was initiated keeping in mind the health and wellbeing of the constituency people.
He expressed appreciation to the advisor for sponsoring the special drive and department for collaborating with the NDPP and reaching out to villagers, who could not come to register.
The release further informed that a team of NDPP and medical department personnel from CMO office, Mokokchung would be camping at the Assembly Constituency during the whole week to ensure that every entitled beneficiary was covered.
