Twenty four teachers have been selected for State Award 2016 to be awarded on September 5, Teachers’ Day along with four teachers who would be given financial assistance on account of serious health ground.
According to DIPR report, additional director (HOD) Wonthungo Tsopoe has informed the state awardees to attend the state level teachers’ day function on September 5 at the NBCC convention centre Kohima and receive the awards personally.
In regard to the financial assistance, the DEO/SDEO may collect the same from the DoSE with authorization letter from the concerned teachers between September 7 to 15.
